To establish an Approved Caterer List of 10 qualified caterers. ● The caterer is responsible for all BAS Catering and Vendor Guidelines, including the proper set-up and take down of all event materials. Every caterer is responsible for the cleanup of all events related items and takes all their trash, leaving the area as it was before the event. (Refer to Attachment: Birch Aquarium – Catering and Vendor Guidelines) ● Supplier acknowledges that they have been in business for a minimum of ten (10) years. BAS will require vendor business certifications and/or permits. ● Supplier is capable and willing to serve events with 2 – 1500 attendees. ● Supplier is capable and willing to serve any type of event (events including, but not limited to, corporate events, meetings, symposiums, award ceremonies, wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinners, and private parties.) The University understands that a Supplier may not be able to take an event due to scheduling. ● For each event hosted at BAS, the supplier shall provide full-service catering and prepare meals on-site using an on-site kitchen. This approach ensures that all dishes are freshly made, which enhances both flavor and presentation. To maintain our high standards, BAS will prioritize this method and avoid dropoff catering services.
