Specifications include, but are not limited to: new water tank, pump station, and transmission main. The new California Tank will replace a former dilapidated wooden tank, which was previously demolished. It involves the following: 2,050 linear feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch diameter, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and 900 linear feet of 12-inch diameter, high density polyethylene (HDPE) potable water pipelines; 0.75-million-gallon, circular, prestressed concrete, potable water storage tank; 860 linear feet of 6-inch through 12-inch diameter, cement mortar lined and taped and mortar coated yard piping; and 3-pumping unit, 1,600-gallon-per-minute water pump station; all complete with appurtenances and structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
