Specifications include, but are not limited to: The As-Is process flow for online exams: 1. CalHR exam analysts create questions for an online exam and provide them to CalHR programmers to implement in a test environment. 2. User acceptance testing is performed. 3. Approved exams are released to the production environment. 4. CalHR exam analysts create an exam bulletin within ECOS and post it to CalCareers. 5. Applicants apply to take an exam by clicking a link within an exam bulletin on the state's jobs CalCareers website. 6. Applicants are redirected to the exams application (a custom application separate from CalCareers/ECOS) 7. After taking the exam, scoring results are passed back to ECOS to create a certification and eligibility for hire.
