In general, this project proposes to upgrade approximately 4,000 linear feet of existing metal beam guardrail on various segments located along Cajalco Road between La Sierra Avenue and Wood Road, and on one segment located along Lake Mathews Drive between Capello Drive and Malta Place in the community of Lake Mathews. Improvements include removing the existing guardrail and installing new guardrail with steel posts, as well as in-line terminal system end treatments, at various locations within the projects limits. Additional work includes placement of guard rail reflective delineators and any other work that may be required. The proposed improvements will include the following: • Preparation and implementation of water pollution control program • Provide traffic control by using temporary devices and traffic equipment necessary to delineate and maintain traffic through work area including but not limited to orange traffic cones, plastic traffic drums, barricades, flagging, placing arrow boards, PCMS, speed radar enforcement. • Clearing and grubbing • Proper disposal of treated wood waste • Reconstruct existing AC dike • Install AC dike transitions • Any other work as may be required
