Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), herein referred to as State, invites you to review and welcomes proposals for cafeteria space located in the Elihu M. Harris State Office Building at 1515 Clay Street, Oakland, Alameda County, California. The kitchen area is ±2,450 square feet. The combined dining room with cafeteria is ±5,360 square feet. The State is seeking a qualified food service provider (referred to as the Awarded Bidder) to provide a variety of healthy, fresh and nutritious food options and excellent customer service. Food service and dining hall operations could include, but are not limited to: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, beverages, grab-n-go food, online ordering, catering and special events. At no time will alcoholic beverages be served during the daily food service operation. The Awarded Bidder must maintain high level customer service and prioritize DGS’ satisfaction with food quality, pricing, menu selection, and catering services.
