5. General: This contract is under the jurisdiction of CHP who will execute the contract documents, coordinate with Contractor as necessary, and conduct inspections to ensure that the work is performed in strict accordance with the specifications. No deviations from the Scope of Work will be permitted without concurrence and prior authorization from the CHP Facilities Coordinator or designee. 6. Walls: A. Replace lower two feet of drywall that has been removed throughout building for sewage mitigation. B. Tape and texture seams per industry standard. C. Repaint walls, matching paint as close as possible. 7. Cabinets: Install new cabinets with countertops with like material, style and color in special duty room, and under camera monitor near scale head. 8. Flooring: A. Remove all current carpet and vinyl tiles. Most has been removed during sewage mitigation/clean up. B. Repair concrete floor if needed. Ensure all cracks and gaps are filled, sanded, and leveled. C. Mechanically prepare floor by concrete grinding, scrubbing, and cleaning as required to prepare floor for application of the moisture seal. D. Install MAXXON MVP One concrete slab sealer, or equivalent, to all floors per manufacturer’s instructions. E. Install Dex-O-Tex Décor-Flor Broadcast System or equivalent.
