Specifications include, but are not limited to: i.SCHEDULE BUILDING The Consultant should be experienced in the process of building schedules in Hastus. This includes creating stops and places and linking them to specific routes and variants. Consultant should also, using best practices, translate planning instructions regarding frequency, service span, and routing into service which can be operated in an efficient and effective manner. Consultants should be well-versed in applying best practices regarding cycle time, recovery, running time, and interlining, among others. ii.BLOCKING The Consultant must be able to provide professional services as they relate to blocking schedules into vehicle assignments that minimize the number of vehicles necessary to operate the service. This may require work using the MinBus module in Hastus. iii.RUNCUTTING The Consultant must be able to provide Staff with assistance in developing the most efficient run-cut possible within the parameters of GGBHTD fixed-route bus service and Collective Bargaining Agreement. Runcutting work may require using the Hastus CrewOpt module and must seek to achieve the lowest number of operators possible while also minimizing the number of paid hours as compared to platform hours.
