Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Advise a governmental entity such as CalPERS on board governance matters, including but not limited to, best practices in both the public and private sector concerning fiduciary duty, conflicts of interest, insider trading, and continuing education requirements. 2.Provide training on board governance matters to the CalPERS Board of Administration. 3.Assist with the drafting and preparation of board governance policies and procedures as may be requested by the Board or designated CalPERS staff. 4.Conduct research and provide analysis or reports relating to board governance matters and/or best practices, as may be requested by the Board or designated CalPERS staff. 5.Attend or conduct meetings concerning board governance issues on behalf of designated CalPERS staff if requested by the Board or designated CalPERS staff.
