City of Redwood City is seeking a transportation planning & engineering firm for the PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) phase of the Bay Road (5th to 15th Avenues) Complete Streets Rehabilitation Project. Bay Road is a north-south local street in Redwood City and unincorporated San Mateo County border that serves multiple schools, offices, industrial uses, and residential neighborhoods. The posted speed limit on Bay Road is 30 MPH. Due to the existing and planned land uses in the vicinity of the corridor, this corridor needs bicycle, pedestrian, and access improvements to meet the current and future needs of community members who are walking, biking, or driving through the corridor. The corridor is also due for repavement.
