The Baseline Marketplace Backbone Roads Project (Project) proposes to widen and construct frontage improvements along Baseline Road and Fiddyment Road; new public roads for Pavilion Drive; Upland Drive; and San Fernando Drive. It is also anticipated that the Project will include the installation and modification of traffic signals; modification and construction of existing and new underground utility facilities prior to and during the construction of the proposed Project improvements. The Work to be performed by the general construction Contractor and specialty subcontractors includes furnishing products, labor, tools, transportation, and services to construct and complete all roadway improvements, retaining walls and bridge structures, for the proposed widening improvements, including, but not limited to: 1. Clearing, grubbing and miscellaneous vegetation removal. 2. Installation and maintenance of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. 3. Demolishing miscellaneous roadway, hardscape and improvements within the project limits. 4. Constructing new storm drain, sewer, potable water, and reclaimed water including services stubs and associated appurtenances. 5. Partnering with local power, gas, and telecommunication agencies to install backbone infrastructure. 6. Constructing all roadway improvements, excavation/compaction/backfill, PCC concrete curbs/sidewalks/driveways, and asphalt concrete improvements. 7. Modification/installation of traffic signals and equipment at several intersections. Installation of proposed streetlight system including streetlights, conductors, conduit, pull boxes and appurtenances. 8. Coordinating with adjacent active improvement projects. 9. Providing the City documentation and as-built schematics and notes pertinent to project closeout. 10.Produce SVSP required documentation and close-out binders
