Specifications include, but are not limited to: Videography Content • Capture interview setups, b-roll, city events, educational/instructional tutorials, and highlight/recap videos of City programs for both one-time projects and ongoing initiatives. • Develop engaging content tailored for social media platforms on a regular basis to maintain community engagement. • Demonstrate experience in creating videos ranging from a minimum of 1 minute to longer than 15 minutes, ensuring versatility and adaptability to various video lengths and formats. Script Writing and Production • Proficiency in script writing, producing, and editing videos to maintain consistency in storytelling and messaging. • Ability to craft compelling narratives and oversee the production process from concept to final delivery. • Collaboration with City staff to gather input and feedback, refining scripts and content as necessary. Software and Equipment Expertise • Experience using current versions of Adobe Creative Cloud, preferably Photoshop and Premiere. • Capability to capture high-quality 60fps 1080p video using personal equipment to ensure visual excellence. • Proficiency in promptly setting up personal equipment to adhere to production schedules. • Experience using Lavalier and Shotgun microphones to capture high quality audio. Planning Process and Location • Demonstrate proficiency in the planning process, including but not limited to preproduction tasks such as storyboarding, location scouting, and scheduling. • Effective communication skills to keep all involved parties informed throughout the planning and execution stages of videography projects. • Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of the City to ensure proximity for efficient collaboration with City staff, timely response to filming requests, and adherence to project schedules.
