Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Airport Affairs 1. Act as single and common point of contact between Airport and SFAAAC in all Airport Affairs. 2. Mediate and manage conflicts when arise between Airport and airlines. 3. Research, review, and respond to correspondence between Airport, SFAAAC and airlines. Such correspondence includes but is not limited to emails, Airport Commission Meeting Materials such as Airport Commission Resolution and Memorandum, SFAAAC meeting minutes, telephone calls with airlines, etc. 4. Provide objective input to SFAAAC in furtherance of a partnership and strong relationship between the Airport and airlines. 5. Facilitate SFAAAC General Membership meetings to foster and strengthen communication between Airport Senior Staff and all airlines serving SFO. 6. Establish and maintain direct line of communication with airlines at both the local and corporate level. 7. Participate in efforts with the Resource Management Advisory Committee (“RMAC”), such as attending gate capacity meetings, reviewing Airport’s gate allocation formula, and addressing concerns from airlines, to support airline assignment of Preferential Gates. 8. Schedule and facilitate monthly meetings or conference calls with Executive/Finance Committee representatives. 9. Attend and participate in meetings on behalf of the Airport and the airlines but may not advocate for or negotiate on behalf of the airlines or the Airport. B. Financial 1. Provide, review, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative financial information and modeling for the Airport and airlines to help understand the financial implications of various business issues, capital plan projects, Airport projects and endeavors, Airport related items, and the establishment of annual Airport Rates and Charges and the annual operating budget. 2. Distribute project submittals and facilitate discussion with SFAAAC Executive/Finance Subcommittee and general membership. 3. Review capital expenditures, project submittals, budgets, and other items, as they may be required, with the Executive/Finance Committee Representative to present a summary of airline viewpoint to the Airport for consideration. 4. Participate in the negotiations on new Lease and Use Agreements between Airport and the airlines such as reviewing financial analysis for various airlines related to impact of a proposed Lease and Use Agreement. 5. Communicate and coordinate with the SFAAAC members on capital projects as required in the Lease and User Agreements to reach Majority in Interest vote. 6. Schedule meetings or telephone conference calls with SFAAAC Executive/Finance Subcommittee Representatives to discuss project submittals. C. Technical and Operational 1. Act as single and common point of contact between Airport and SFAAAC on topics arising from technical and operational activities impacting the airlines serving SFO. 2. Provide objective industry expertise inputs and advice to Airport staff on behalf of the SFAAAC on topics including but not limited to: i. Construction Projects ii. Environmental Issues iii. Federal Aviation Administration Funding iv. Flight Operations v. Ground Handling vi. Security Regulations vii. Support Facility Development 3. Liaise and support the airlines in any upcoming significant projects affecting numerous airlines, such as the terminal renovation and redevelopment. 4. Provide a summary of airlines’ perspectives on issues relating to topics in technical and operational areas and facilitate the discussion for issues resolution. 5. When requested by Airport, schedule meetings or telephone conference calls with SFAAAC representatives to solicit input on technical and operational issues inherent in policy decisions or projects.
