Specifications include, but are not limited to: The pattern mill shall be designed as an attachment machine for host machines, such as skid steer loaders, front end loaders and motor grades. The unit shall provide the necessary hydraulic and operational controls. The unit shall have a center pivot design that will prevent instability and bouncing by focusing the weight of the skid steer onto the cutting drum and releasing the stress on the planer frame. Front Down Design: The unit shall keep the front of the planer low to the ground, providing a barrier for the debris generated. The unit shall be equipped with an access door for inspection and removal of pics. The unit shall have a minimum of 80number of pic teeth. The pattern mill unit shall have a hydraulic pattern control. The cutting wheel shall be controlled hydraulically, eliminating the cam wheel arrangements. The unit shall have an interchangeable hydraulic actuator plate and sprockets. The interchangeable sprockets in conjunction with the interchangeable pattern plates shall allow the distance between the pattern cuts to be varied. The pattern mill shall be designed with interchangeable hydraulic actuator plates so that the length and depth of the cut can be varied for multiple applications. The unit shall have a front metering wheel that tracks the distance traveled indicating the pattern mill when to engage. The pattern mill unit shall have an optional electronic interruptible cut (IC) control module. The IC module shall allow a custom pattern code available for storage on a SD card. The interruptible cut (IC) module shall have the capability to cut lines with various complex patterns in accordance with California State requirements.
