The County of Riverside Purchasing, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Bureau, is soliciting quotations for a 1200 x 1200 Inject Envelope Printer as described in Exhibit “A” Product Specifications, on page eight of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to support and enhance the function, operation, and capabilities of the Sheriff’s Inmate Training and Education Bureau (SITE-B). The Sheriff’s Office is the second largest in California, covering over 7,300 square miles, and operates five adult facilities. SITE-B operates within the Corrections Division and offers programs and services that help inmates with individualized reentry and transition needs. It also contributes to vocational and occupational skills, job readiness, and adult basic education. This RFQ aims to procure a printer that can efficiently handle various printing tasks, especially envelopes. This RFQ aims to obtain competitive quotes from qualified bidders to provide one (1) 1200 x 1200 Inkjet Envelope Printer from the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder. The Sheriff's Office may award this RFQ based on the best value for fit, form, and functionality to meet the needs of the Corrections Division SITE-B. In this instance, the lowest bidder may not be the only determining factor before granting the final award.
