The Trust for Public Land is managing the renovation of Zamora Park, an approximately 4.5-acre existing park in the City of El Monte. The Trust for Public Land is a national non-profit who develops park space in under-resourced communities and does so by partnering with local cities. The scope of this project will include but is not limited to: • New splash pad and restroom building • New playground • Playground shade • New landscape and irrigation • New lighting • Resurfacing of a basketball court • New concrete pavement This project is funded in part by state and federal funding sources, requiring compliance with all applicable provisions of the California Labor Code and the federal Davis Bacon Act. Additionally, this project is subject to HUD Section 3 requirements. The selected Contractor will be required to obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) by the time of contract award.
