The City of Carson, hereinafter referred to as “City”, through its Community Services Department, is seeking written proposals from qualified contractors to provide grant-funded meal and snack services for its Summer and Afterschool Programs at designated City park locations. Services must be provided at no cost to the City, with the contractor’s funding supported entirely through external grant sources. The selected contractor (“Contractor”) shall deliver high-quality meals and snacks for children ages 6-12, in compliance with USDA nutritional guidelines as outlined in the federal regulation available at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2016-04-25/pdf/2016-09412.pdf. The Contractor is required to provide two meals per day – either lunch and snack or supper and snack – in accordance with Child Food Program standards. • Lunch meals must be delivered before 12:00 PM • Supper meals must be delivered before 4:00 PM
