Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of the tenant improvements for an existing single story with mezzanine of approximately 25,000 square foot building as defined in Section 01 10 00. Life safety improvements will include a fire alarm and suppression system, which the building currently lacks, as well as egress path of travel improvements. Critical maintenance upgrades will include improved and expanded restrooms to meet accessibility codes; retrofitting the lighting with an energy-savings LED product with new suspended acoustical ceiling tiles; new roofing; replacing room signage and door hardware for improved accessibility. The project will also include significant modernization elements, including reorganizing the interior to expand space for children and teens; consolidating staff workspaces; new local history space; creating dedicated group study rooms; adding convenience power for patrons; enhancing the broadband to 10G with a new tele/com room; and improving the interior wayfinding signage and finishes. Shelving will be reorganized, and select furniture and shelving will also be replaced. All Work described above includes site improvements such as grading, drainage, paving, fencing, landscape and irrigation work also as indicated on the drawings & specifications.
