Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall repair damaged and chipped windshields and replace broken windshields for all DSH-Coalinga vehicles on a as needed basis. B. Contractor shall provide tinting services on an as needed basis. C. Contractor shall be able to provide services for all vehicles listed in Exhibit B. D. The Contractor shall ensure that any and all technicians performing work are knowledgeable, trained and experienced in performing the repair services. E. Repairs in excess of $350.00 require written approval from DSH-Coalinga Contract Manager and the Fleet Inspector. No repair shall take longer than three (3) business days to complete. F. Parts Replacement i. This agreement shall include replacement of any part that becomes worn or inoperable, or that otherwise affects the vehicle’s operability in any way. The Contractor must notify the DSH-Coalinga Contract Manager and provide a written estimate which includes a published price list of replacement part(s) prior to ordering and/or installing the part. ii. Contractor will be reimbursed for the actual cost of the parts with a maximum markup of 15%. A published price list for parts may be requested with the Contractor’s written estimate. Proof of cost, such as a copy of the actual invoice for the part from the company from which it was purchased, may also be requested with Contractor’s invoice for reimbursement. iii. The State assumes no responsibility and will not reimburse the Contractor for parts that were ordered or installed prior to authorization by the DSH-Coalinga Contract Manager. G. Contractor shall supply a warranty/guarantee covering all workmanship and labor (free of charge) on repairs for a period of one year, commencing on the acceptance date. H. Contractor shall maintain have a service location within a 60-mile radius of DSH-Coalinga to assure minimal travel.
