The Work shall consist of, but not limited to the following: BASE BID: A. Remove awnings. B. Remove all existing windows per the Window list provided. The Contractor is responsible for verifying all quantities and all existing sizes. Note: All dimensions shown on the list is for general bidding information only, all new custom-sized replacement window sizes to be adjusted accordingly. Use extreme accuracy when taking measurements. C. Remove and replace existing interior window trim only where required for new window installation. Add new wood trim where required. D. Check the existing window jambs & sills and exterior trim for any damage, repair and replace where necessary. The Lanai was built in 1958, so any required additional substantial dry-rot wall framing repairs (not discovered during the visual inspection) to be reviewed/corrected by CADA. E. Install new Z-bar, white ext. white int. Horizontal, vinyl retrofit windows and sliders to meet the Title 24 code and comply with manufacturer guidelines and all applicable building codes and regulations. All windows to be installed with the required standard hardware and windows with insect screens.
