BID ITEM 2: SITE PREPARATION/CLEANUP (SOUND WALLS, ALL-WEATHER PAD, EROSION & SEDIMENT CONTROL, TANKS) Production Well Site Preparation/Cleanup The measurement unit for this work is lump sum for all work associated with site preparation, equipment, and cleanup for all-weather access, traffic control, sound walls, erosion and sediment control, settlement tanks, borehole drilling, well construction, development, sampling, and surface completion at the wellhead, and shall include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials. The lump sum price for the production well site preparation shall be as specified in the bid schedule submitted by the Contractor for this project. Unit prices shall be as set forth in the bid schedule unless otherwise agreed upon by the Owner in writing and should include all incidentals. All-Weather Pad The measurement unit for this work is lump sum for all work associated with furnishing and installing a temporary all-weather access pad. Payment shall include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials. Sounds Walls The measurement unit for this work is lump sum for all work associated with the installation and removal of sound wall, included with the unit price for site preparation/cleanup. Approximate linear footage of sound wall required is shown in the Plans. The measurement unit for this work shall be lump sum, included with the unit price for site preparation/cleanup. The measurement shall include all labor, equipment, and materials required to mobilize, install, and remove the settlement tanks and associated equipment. BID ITEM 3: DISPOSAL OF DRILL CUTTINGS & FLUIDS The measurement unit for this work is lump sum for all work associated with containerization and offsite disposal of drill cuttings and fluids, and shall include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials. All materials shall be disposed of off-site at an accredited disposal facility, in accordance with all applicable local laws and regulations. The lump sum price for disposal of drill cuttings and fluids shall be as specified in the bid schedule submitted by the Contractor for this project. BID ITEM 4: STANDBY TIME AND MISC. AUTHORIZED HOURLY WORK (ENGINEER’S DISCRETION) Representative and as approved by the Owner. Measurement for payment shall be rounded to the nearest ½-hour. Payment shall be at the hourly unit price as specified in the bid schedule submitted by the Contractor for this project. Measurement and payment for hourly work includes work authorized by the Owner’s Representative and shall be at the bid hourly price. No separate measurements and payment under this bid item will be made for drill rig work that is covered by other bid items for drilling operations, casing and screen installation, grouting, plumbness and alignment testing, well development, or test pump installation or removal. BID ITEM 5: FURNISH AND INSTALL 36” OD X 3/8” WALL MILD STEEL CONDUCTOR CASING WITH 10.3 SACK MIX SAND/CEMENT GROUT SEAL The measurement unit for this work is linear foot (vertical) of conductor casing and sanitary seal successfully installed. The value for payment shall be measured at the nearest foot. Measurement is based on the linear feet of conductor casing and sanitary seal installed and shall include all incidentals. Unit prices shall be as set forth in the bid schedule unless otherwise agreed upon by the Owner in writing and should include all incidentals. Payment shall be the unit rate for the item multiplied by the length of installed conductor casing and sanitary seal. BID ITEM 6: BOREHOLE DRILLING – 32” DIA The measurement unit for this work is linear foot (vertical) of borehole drilled, and shall include all labor, equipment, and materials required for reaming the pilot borehole and maintaining drilling fluid control. The value for payment shall be measured to the nearest foot. Measurement shall be taken from the ground surface to the total drilled depth. Payment shall be the unit price specified in the bid schedule submitted by the Contractor for this project multiplied by the borehole footage for the following borehole diameters/intervals: Upper Borehole: Minimum 32-inch nominal diameter, 50 to 348 feet If additional borehole drilling footage is required and approved by the Owner’s Representative beyond what is indicated in these specifications, then the Contractor shall be reimbursed for the additional footage of borehole reaming at the unit price(s) specified in the bid schedule submitted by the Contractor for this project.
