Specifications include, but are not limited to:Background: Portofoakland.com and oaklandairport.com are separate websites currently maintained by 2Plus2 Partners, Inc. Portofoakland.com was refreshed about 2 years ago while oaklandairport.com has not been refreshed for over 10 years. Other smaller, targeted websites have been created over the past several years by various Port departments. The websites lack cohesion with each other, do not drive interaction with the Port and do not work well presenting the many ‘brands’ of the Port. Users report difficulties finding things on the current websites. Our target audience is broad. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to, customers, business partners, users of Port facilities, general public, local area impacted by the Port and employees. B. Minimum Qualifications of Consultants: It is required that the consultant or consultant team have recent relevant experience with website creation, modern web technologies, architecture, migration, graphic design, maintenance and administration continuously over the last five years. Consultant must have mainstream web and web application/database development experience. Additionally, to be eligible to propose on this RFP, the Proposer must have provided similar services to at least two (2) medium or large companies in the United States. C. Goals: • The Port would like to have coherent, dynamic websites that showcase the Port’s many brands. The main Port of Oakland and Oakland Airport websites will be the ones which will be initially redesigned. The consolidation of smaller websites into the main websites where possible is desired.
