The City of Madera is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide water well preventative maintenance, rehabilitation, and on-call repair services for the City’s municipal groundwater wells for which City is entirely reliant to provide potable water to approximately 66,000 residents. The City’s water well equipment includes: 18 operational municipal wells. One additional municipal water well is anticipated to come online during the initial contract period. Vertical turbine pumps ranging in size from 150 to 250 horsepower Well depths range from 470 feet to 610 feet Well casing diameters range from 14 inches to 20 inches The selected Contractor will be expected to support the City in maintaining and servicing its active municipal wells. during the initial contract period. Services under this contract will be provided on an on-call, as-needed, time-and-materials basis. The initial contract term will be for two (2) years, with the option to extend the agreement for up to two (2) additional one-year periods.
