The City of Ontario seeks to enhance its water supply portfolio for sustainability and resiliency, particularly in response to continued or future droughts, and anticipated increases in water demand from the Ontario Ranch development. The selected Consultant shall prepare a Water Resources Optimization Plan for the City’s water supply portfolio by: • Evaluating existing water sources to optimize their use. • Evaluating interagency agreements for enhanced business solutions. • Assessing the current health of the City’s water assets. • Researching alternative water supplies to provide security, diversification, and flexibility. The selected Consultant shall perform the following services, including but not limited to: • Industry-leading expert analyses. • Develop cost estimates for alternative water sources. • Recommend integration strategies for the City’s existing water systems. • Prepare a comprehensive written report.
