A. The Contractor shall perform the following monitoring function for the operation of the Tecate PS and record the appropriate date of service in the monitoring log. B. Contractor must use an approved Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP)/National ELAP Accredited Laboratory C. Contractor is required to submit valid ELAP certification for any analyses performed under the contract. If analyses will be subcontracted, the prime contractor must submit a listing of analyses to be subcontracted, specify who will be performing those analyses and provide the ELAP certifications for those subcontracted laboratories. D. Contractor shall check, record and perform the following functions on site visit: 1) Raw water turbidity. 2) Treated water turbidity. 3) Treated water temperature in the water tank. 4) Reading on hour meter on site. 5) Weekly a) Wipe down and sweep out the site. b) Replenish the bleach supply as required. 6) Monthly a) Take bacteriological sample(s) of treated water. b) Deliver the monitoring logs to the governing health agency. 7) Annually a) Calibrate all monitoring devices. b) Inspect tank. c) Prepare Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), post a copy at the site, mail a copy to the State of California, Department of Public Health.
