A. System Design and Performance Requirements 1) The new MBR treatment system must include fine screening, aeration, biological nutrient removal (BNR), membrane filtration, and disinfection. 2) The SCADA system must allow remote monitoring, alarms, and automated data logging. 3) Contractor shall ensure the system must be modular and scalable for future expansion. B. Demolition and Site Preparation 1) Contractor shall complete decommissioning and removal of the existing WWTP. 2) Contractor shall complete excavation, grading, and foundation construction for the new plant. 3) Contractor shall complete installation of new influent/effluent pipelines. C. Temporary Wastewater Treatment 1) Contractor shall design and implement a temporary wastewater treatment system during the transition. 2) Contractor shall ensure temporary system meets regulatory effluent discharge standards. D. Procurement and Fabrication 1) Contractor shall complete manufacturing and pre-testing of the pre-engineered MBR system. 2) Contractor shall complete Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before delivery. E. Installation and SCADA Integration 1) Contractor shall provide delivery and installation of the new MBR treatment system. 2) Contractor shall provide SCADA system setup for remote monitoring and automation. 3) Contractor shall process piping, electrical, and control system integration.
