BANDWIDTH GUARANTEE 13.1. Contractor shall conduct a bandwidth stress test of the wireless environment. This test shall be conducted with iperf network performance measurement tool or equivalent. 13.2. Contractor shall monitor and record bandwidth through each AP to insure full WAN bandwidth speed is capable in all rooms and offices. 13.3. Contractor shall take (4) independent readings in the farthest corners of each room or space and the results shall be logged for district review on Appendix D, “Wireless Stress Test Form.” 13.4. Proposer shall remedy any weak or missing single which does not meet bandwidth requirement. Such remediation shall include but not limited to providing additional access points and\or additional cabling and network drops, at no cost to the District. SIGNAL STRENGTH GUARANTEE 13.5. It is very strongly recommended (but not a mandatory requirement) that Proposers conduct pre-bid Wi-Fi site surveys prior to bid. Proposers shall conduct an active post-installation site survey at all sites. The Wi-Fi site survey shall produce heat maps indicating the signal strength and coverage of each AP overlaid existing site plan through the use of spectrum analysis software such as Fluke Networks “AirMagnet”. Signal strength shall be a no less than -65db at all corners of each classroom and traffic areas on campus. 13.6. Proposer must guarantee the signal strength. Any modifications required to guarantee the required minimum signal strength shall be the sole responsibility of the awarded contractor. 13.7. RFP response shall provide a signal strength guarantee of -65 dBm RSSI or greater in every room including office spaces. If the post-install Wi-Fi site survey indicates any areas do not meet the 22 signal strength criteria it shall be the contractor’s responsibility to provide additional access points/ arrays, cabling, network drops and installation services, via change order, to the District to meet the -65 dBM RSSI in every room including offices. 13.8. Contractor shall perform a post-installation active Wi-Fi site surveys shall be performed, upload campus map into AirMagnet or equivalent Software, and obtain live RSSI readings to show signal heat map. POST-INSTALL ACTIVE WI-FI SITE SURVEYS 13.9. Successful Proposer shall conduct post-install active Wi-Fi site surveys at each school. Proposer shall remedy any weak or missing single which does not meet signal strength requirement. Such remediation shall include but not limited to providing additional access points and\or additional cabling and network drops, at no cost to the District
