In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct and equip Santa Maria Water Supply Well No. 15. Work shall consist of importing borrow, performing grading, drainage and site improvements, trenching for pipe and conduit, trench dewatering when applicable, installing above ground and below ground 10-inch, 12-inch and 14-inch diameter ductile iron pipes, installing gate valves, blow-off and combination air valve assemblies, hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing and disinfection of installed piping, installing electrical and communication conduit and associated access vaults, constructing building and equipment foundations, well pedestal and well pad, installing vertical turbine pump and motor, column pipe and shaft, above ground piping, valves, sand separator, surge tank, fire hydrant, associated piping and components, installing chlorination fiberglass shelter building, sodium hypochlorite feed pump assembly, chemical storage tanks, chemical injection and monitoring instrumentation, associated piping, electrical and controls, constructing eye/face wash station associated piping, drainage and controls, constructing prefabricated metal electrical and generator building, constructing interior wall, installing doors and hardware, installing electrical utility service connection, main switchboard, distribution panels, transformer, soft starter, emergency generator, supply louvers and exhaust hood, automatic transfer switch, SCADA PLC system, equipment instrumentation, HVAC, miscellaneous electrical apparatuses, building and exterior well site electrical, lighting and intrusion monitoring, installing removable pump enclosure, HVAC and associated well pump and motor electrical and communication systems, installing process control and instrumentation systems, flow, level and pressure measurement equipment, transmitters and switches, assisting the City’s preferred SCADA integrator with panel installation and testing, installing chain link fencing and gates and performing associated site works and all other work identified in the Contract Documents.
