Valley Water seeks General B contractors for the successful completion of the Water Quality Lab Counters project. The project replaces existing laminate laboratory countertops and sinks with new laboratory-grade epoxy resin work surfaces while preserving the base cabinetry. The contractor shall field-verify dimensions, prepare shop drawings for approval, and fabricate all epoxy components to the approved sizes, thicknesses, edges, cutouts, and openings. Provide all anchorage, fasteners, sealants, and penetrations necessary to achieve a watertight and chemically resistant installation compatible with laboratory use. Perform selective demolition with protection of adjacent casework and equipment, implement dust control, and maintain daily housekeeping so laboratory operations continue safely. Reconnection of water and waste services is an additive alternate to be performed by properly licensed plumbing personnel, with all joints sealed and leak-tested before turnover. Coordinate sequencing with Facilities and Laboratory staff, schedule any temporary service interruptions, and restore the space to full service at the end of each work shift. Deliverables include field measurements, submittals, product data and warranties, and closeout documentation with as-built dimensions and maintenance recommendations.
