1. The requested service is a Point-to-Point service between the User Network Interface (UNI) at the Owner’s “Collector Site” to the UNI(s) located at each of the sites as listed on “Attachment A and B– Site Schedule.” a. Applicant is requesting a dedicated point to point network, or a dedicated connection between no more than two sites. A dedicated point-to-point network can have more than two sites in its WAN; however, no more than two sites are directly connected to each other. Each site connects to the “HUB” where all switching and routing is completed. In this dedicated point-to-point network setup, it is required that a 1-to-1 connection be provided between each site and the “HUB” site. 2. The District currently has a managed Point-To-Point telecommunications service providing a 10GB connection between BelmontRedwood Shores District Office, located at 2960 Hallmark Dr., Belmont, CA 94002 and Nesbit Elementary School, located at 500 Biddulph Way, Belmont, CA 94002 3. The requested service is a E-rate eligible managed service (Category 1) Point-To-Point Data Connection from the MDF at Belmont-Redwood Shores District Office, located at 2960 Hallmark Dr., Belmont, CA 94002 to the Owner Data Center located at Nesbit Elementary School, located at 500 Biddulph Way, Belmont, CA 94002 at a speed no less than 10GB. Solution must be turn-key and include all components necessary to connect from the switch/router at Belmont-Redwood Shores District Office to the switch/router at the Nesbit Elementary School. 4. Given the potential for construction at the current HUB site located at 2960 Hallmark Dr., the District is exploring the possibility of relocating the HUB to Nesbit Elementary School (500 Biddulph Way). The transition is expected to occur between May and July 2025, contingent upon Board approval. The Respondent must account for the following in their proposal: a. The Respondent must include in their proposal the necessary technical support to assist with the HUB relocation to Nesbit Elementary School, ensuring minimal disruption to service during the transition. b. During the HUB transition period (May-July 2025), overlapping services will be required at both the original HUB location (District Office) and the new HUB location (Nesbit Elementary School) to ensure continuous service. The proposal should include pricing for services at both locations for this period. c. The awarded vendor will be responsible for supporting the physical move of network equipment to the new HUB location, coordinating with the District to ensure a seamless transition. 5. The Connections shall be a minimum of 1GB, or higher, unless otherwise noted on the “Attachment A and B– Site Schedule”
