Options Analysis: o Develop 2–3 feasible drainage improvement alternatives. o Evaluate each option based on: • Estimated construction and lifecycle cost • Ease of installation and permitting • Expected effectiveness in mitigating flood risk • Potential disruption to residents • Long-term maintenance implications 3.4 Recommendation and Reporting: o Rank and prioritize alternatives. o Present findings and recommendations to City staff, including an engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs (OPCC) for each alternative. o Incorporate City feedback into a preferred alternative. 3.5 Final Design: o Prepare full construction documents for the selected alternative, including: 100% design plans Technical specifications Final engineer’s estimate (Class I) 3.6 Coordination and Meetings: o Attend up to three project meetings (site walk, options review, final design review). o Coordinate with City staff, utilities, and other relevant stakeholders as needed. Deliverables: o Draft and final options analysis report with ranked alternatives. o Modeling files and associated calculations. o 100% PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimate) for the selected solution in both digital (PDF and CAD) and hard copy formats.
