The City of La Verne (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors with the experience, expertise and qualifications to provide city-wide network connectivity for a video management system (VMS) and an access control system for city facilities. The scope of work will include the provision of all equipment and professional services necessary to successfully complete the replacement of the City’s current VMS and access control system, including as-needed camera replacement, infrastructure addition/replacement, and as-required related professional services such as implementation, installation, training, maintenance, and support of all cameras, connectivity, VMS components and access control components. The City has historically had a decentralized approach to purchasing VMS and access control. As a result, the City’s current and disparate VMS and access control solutions vary greatly in age and type, and there is no centralized or standard city-wide solution.
