Contractor will work with CDPH CLS programs to provide Veterinary Science technical expertise on animal-related activities and emergency response. The Contractor will also assist with the development and maintenance of a variety of written and electronic materials, including CDPH emergency and continuity plans, facility manuals, emergency response procedures, health and safety guidance documents, staff training materials, policies, inspection reports, and action plan. The Contractor will work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team. Contractor agrees to serve as the CDPH Attending Veterinarian reporting to the Public Health Laboratory Director of the Center for Laboratory Science as required by the Animal Welfare Act, with the primary responsibility, support, and authority to care for the health and well-being of all laboratory animals used at the institution. Bids must address all the services described in the Exhibit A entitled, “Scope of Work”.
