The City of Santa Ana maintains a large fleet of vehicles covering sedans, passenger and cargo vans, utility trucks and heavy-duty trucks at the Corporate Yard facility located at 215 S. Center Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703. It is the responsibility of Fleet Services to maintain all City vehicles in operating condition. The City is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide vehicle body/collision repair services on an “as-needed” basis, for various vehicles within the control of the Fleet Services operations. The work proposed shall be performed at the contractor’s place of business. The City intends to enter into multiple contracts to furnish auto body and painting services for City vehicles and equipment, to include but not be limited to, general body repair, dent repair or component replacement to exterior/interior body components, repairing collision damage, glass repair/replacement, window tinting, and painting all or portions of vehicle bodies. Each project will be designated to one of the contracted vendors based vendor’s availability.
