Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Paper Stock: 2.1.1. Single sheet.; 2.1.2. Pantone Code: 11-0602 TPX Snow White; 2.1.3. Leatherette cover paper stock; eighty (80) lb. basic weight compatible with the printing process.; 2.1.3.1.Variations on paper stock are acceptable upon review and approval by ARCC.; 2.1.4. The paper must contain a full toner retention coating that enhances printer and copier toner adhesion to accommodate the printed texts and images specified in Specification 2.3.; 2.2. Size: 2.2.1. The holder is 11.5 inches long and 10.5 inches wide unfolded; 4 inches long and 9 inches wide when folded. See attached picture example list labeled Appendix-A attached with this solicitation.; 2.2.1.1.The face of the holder is measured at 4 inches long and 9 inches wide.; 2.2.1.2.The top and bottom flaps are each measured at 3.75 inches long and 9 inches wide.; 2.2.1.3.The two side flaps are each measured at 4 inches long and 0.75 inches wide.; 2.2.2. Variations on the dimensions of the flaps are acceptable as long as the holder can store an 8.5-inch by 11-inch sheet of paper tri-folded and upon review and approval by ARCC.; 2.3. Placement of Printed Text: 2.3.1. Face text: surface-printed in gold ink.; 2.3.2. On the face of the folder, printed text shall include the following: 2.3.2.1.“Vital Records” in Old English font, size 36.; 2.3.2.2.“Issued By” in Old English font, size 12.; 2.3.2.3.The name of the Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk in Old English font, size 18, to be provided to the Contractor prior to each printing.; 2.3.2.4.“San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk” in Old English font, size 12.; 2.3.2.5.“Commissioner of Civil Marriages” in Old English font, size 12.; 2.3.3. On the face of the folder, printed images shall include: 2.3.3.1.The “Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk San Diego County, CA” seal (1-inch diameter) to the left of the “San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk” printed text.; 2.3.3.2.The “County of San Diego” seal (1-inch diameter) to the right of the “San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk” printed text.; 2.3.4. Any identifying Contractor trademark (i.e., name, logo) placed on the holder is not acceptable.; 2.3.5. Coordination with the Department of Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk is required in order to review and approve features such as font type, font size, ink, and images specified in Specification 2.3.; 2.4. Vital Records Folder Construction: 2.4.1. With the face of the holder facing outward, the bottom flap shall be glued to the side flaps to form a bucket.; 2.4.2. The top flap shall be scored for folding to create a hinge but shall not be folded.; 2.5. Upon award, ARCC can provide its current version of Vital Records Holder for the Contractor’s inspection and replication.
