Services shall include, as applicable, but not limited to: Prepare site for repair or installation. Ensure proper ventilation is observed when installing or repairing the vinyl floor. (This is in relation to strong odors from glue or materials used). Clean the repair/installation site. Repair, patch and prepare floors to the extent necessary. • Match existing flooring. If match is not available, prior approval of color/pattern must be approved by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee. Provide communication on the amount of time the flooring will take to cure. Installation Services Cover entryways and vents to contain dust and debris. Take necessary steps to protect existing space and to limit the amount of dust and debris to surrounding areas. Install transition molding and/or strips, as needed. Install/repair threshold, as needed. Measure and record the moisture content of the new floor and the sub floor that it will be installed to ensure moisture level is appropriate for installation. Provide sanitary and infection control in all medical areas and clinics per standard industry and manufacturer specifications. The resilient flooring is a Grade A, Type II material that is a minimum of 0.085 inches thick.
