VEHICLE BARRIERS MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR (VBMR) SERVICES at Edwards AFB
The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB, CA, seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for critical vehicle barrier security systems protecting base perimeter access points.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to maintain operational Air Force vehicle barrier systems through quarterly preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and annual refurbishment.
EQUIPMENT COVERAGE:
- Four (4) Barrier Systems: Global Grab Technologies (60 FT, 28 FT configurations)
- Sixteen (16) Drop Arms: FAAC Model B680H
- Thirty-four (34) Bollards: Delta Scientific Models DSC800(M) and TT210
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Quarterly inspection and maintenance of all safety detection and warning equipment
- Emergency response capability with required response timeframes
- Testing of hydraulic systems, control panels, and safety mechanisms
- Annual corrosion control and repainting services
- Minor repair parts provision within specified allowances
- Compliance with manufacturer specifications and security protocols
