I. General Requirements A. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. B. All work must comply with local building codes, health/safety regulations, and ADA accessibility requirements. C. The contractor shall maintain a clean and safe work environment. II. Demolition Work A. Carefully remove existing fixtures and finishes as specified: 1. Remove and dispose of existing mirrors and light fixtures in the Lab Room. 2. Remove and dispose of one (1) sink in the Lab room: 15” (W) x 15” (H). 3. Patch and prep disturbed wall and ceiling areas for finished work. III. Painting Work A. Prep walls, ceilings, and trim by sanding, patching, and applying primer as needed. B. Apply two coats. Paint to be determined. C. Paint any new partitions, doors, or trim installed under this scope. IV. Construction Work A. Install Fixtures and Equipment as specified: 1. Raise the sink from 27” (H) to 34” (H) in the Lab room, including necessary plumbing connections. 2. Install one (1) sink in the Lab room: 15” (W) x 15” (H). 3. Install countertops in the Lab room. The area measures 77” (W) x 78” (H). 4. Install cabinets (with locks) in the Lab Room. The area measures 77” (W) x 78” (H). 5. Install overhead cabinets (with locks) in the Lab Room. The area measures 77” (W) x 36” (H). 6. Install open shelving under the counter in the storage room: 48” (W) x 24’ (H). 7. Install cabinets (with locks) in the area adjacent to the storage room: 60” (W) x 51” (L). 8. Install an emergency button in the restroom area. 9. Install a cubby adjacent to the sink in the restroom area: 12” (W) x 6.5” (D) x 7” (H). 10. Install a fence in the outside area behind the building: 59” (W) x 95” (H), two (2) doors 34” (W) x 95” (H). The fence will be an extension of the current fence line. 11. Install a fence in the pathway outside the building: 77” (W) x 95” (H). B. Partition & Privacy Improvements 1. Construct a header and a wall for a standard door for the Lab Room. The header will measure approximately 32” (W) x 17” (H). The door will measure approximately 32” (W) x 85” (H). 2. Paint the wall and door to match the existing. C. Specialty Doors 1. Furnish and install one (1) accordion door with a header in the restroom. The header will measure approximately 63” (W) x 15.5” (H). The accordion door will measure approximately 63” (W) x 86.5” (H).
