The work necessary for the completion of this contract includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, traffic control, water pollution control, potholing and field verifications of existing utilities, trench construction, dewatering, removing an abandoned 12-inch cast iron water main in Alley 402-A, furnishing and installing conduit with poly-pull ropes including service lateral runs, utility pullboxes, handholes, vaults and all associated items necessary for the conversion of existing overhead electrical power, telephone, and cable television services to underground locations as required and intended by the Plans, Specifications, and further specified by Southern California Edison, AT&T and Spectrum standards within UNDERGROUND UTILITY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 124 (PHASE 2). Any costs resulting from work performed that was directed by Southern California Edison, AT&T and Spectrum engineers, inspectors or other personnel will not be compensated unless said work was approved by the Engineer prior to work commencing. Contractor shall perform all trenching, backfill, pavement restoration, resurfacing and replacement of existing improvements (public or private including but not limited to driveways, fences, walls, signs, landscaping, mailboxes, and other such items) associated with or resulting from the work identified herein.
