Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide unarmed uniformed security guard services, including all personnel, supervision, vehicles, equipment, and supplies (except as identified herein as Agency-provided). These services shall be provided by California-licensed, private, uniformed, unarmed security guards throughout Agency-operated facilities in western San Bernardino County. The overall activity at any of the facilities can present potentially hostile, volatile, or hazardous situations which dictate the need for maintaining a calm and peaceful environment. Security guards must provide this level of calm while creating a security presence which deters unlawful activities. One of the major tasks of providing security at these Agency facilities is adapting to rapidly changing environments. Security guards must be professional, use discretion and good judgement in dealing with Agency employees, contractors, visitors, and the public.
