Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security services are currently provided at the Government Center and Courthouse, during business hours. Services include monitoring foot traffic, operation of an xray machine, monitoring walk-through metal detector, occasional usage of hand-held metal detector, assurance of no weapon, or weapon-type mechanism on County premises, and patrolling the exterior premises every hour. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. County is requesting security services for these two locations from a minimum of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. County may request services for night meetings, elections, and other various activities that fall outside of normal business hours during the week. County also reserves the right to request weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis. Security services are also currently provided at the Health and Human Services Facility, which houses Health and Human, Child Support Services, and Peachtree Clinic. Services include monitoring foot traffic, operation of an x-ray machine, monitoring walk-through metal detector, occasional usage of hand-held metal detector, assurance of no weapon, or weapon-type mechanism on County premises, and patrolling the exterior premises every hour, during normal business hours. In addition, security services are rendered 24 hours a day on weekends and designated County holidays. Services for weekend patrol includes securing exterior doors, check vehicles, and building parameter. Normal business hours are as stated above. Security services may also be required to assist law enforcement personnel with holdings and other non-threatening situations on an as-needed basis.
