Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Security services at Turlock City Hall (156 S. Broadway) a. One (1) security guard in the lobby at the main entrance to City Hall b. The primary purpose of the position is to provide assistance to visitors seeking City services by directing them to the appropriate location, issue and manage visitor passes, and provide an official, security presence to deter bad behavior. c. The security guard may be requested, on occasion, to leave the desk in the main lobby to assist City staff in another area of City Hall with a security-related need. d. Service hours would include: i. Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding observed holidays ii. 2 nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month, typically from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (approximate) for City Council meetings. In the event the City Council meeting goes past 9:00 p.m. the security guard is expected to stay for the duration of the meeting. iii. Special hours for other legislative, board or commission meetings on an asneeded basis (to be determined and coordinated in the future) 2. Security services at the Roger K. Fall Transit Center (1418 N. Golden State Blvd.) a. One (1) security guard to monitor the Transit Center site and building lobby; b. The primary duties at this location is to: enforce City rules for public conduct at the Transit Center; provide an active, mobile patrol of the premises; redirect drivers who make errant turns into restricted areas by directing them to the public parking lot; escort transit personnel (on-site) when conducting sensitive transit activities; monitor activities within the central lobby; and provide an official, security presence to deter bad behavior. c. Service hours are 24 hours per day, every day of the week, including holidays. d. Security personnel shall use a system (i.e. “touring” system or similar) to ensure that personnel are making regular, active patrols on-site. The majority of time should be spent patrolling vs. maintaining a fixed position (post). 3. Security services at Stanislaus Regional Water Authority (SRWA) (1235 Aldrich Rd., Hughson) - site is currently under construction with an estimated completion date of December 2023. a. This site falls under the Department of Homeland Security. b. One (1) security guard to monitor SRWA site of an estimated 44 acres and exterior of buildings as security personnel will not have access to enter buildings; c. The primary duties at this location is to: provide an active, mobile patrol of premises including monitoring of the perimeter, and provide an official, security presence to deter trespassing. d. Service hours would be: i. Daily, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., including holidays e. Security personnel shall use a system (i.e. “touring” system or similar) to ensure that personnel are making regular, active patrols on-site. The majority of time should be spent patrolling vs. maintaining a fixed position (post).
