For the purposes of maintaining a higher level of security at these select facilities. Guards will serve a customer service role by greeting clients and vendors, signing them in, and ensuring that they get to the respective locations to obtain the best level of service possible. Guards shall also make periodic checks on and about the assigned facilities and report criminal, or disorderly conduct to the appropriate entity including contacting and providing updates to the Oakland Housing Authority Police Department. OHA is seeking the services of a firm that will provide as-needed security services at 1327 65th Ave, Oakland, CA 94621, 935 Union Street, Oakland, CA 94607, 1540 Webster Street, Oakland, CA 94608, and 1619 Harrison St, Oakland, CA 94612. The Authority, at its sole discretion, may add or remove sites for security services. The security contractor shall perform and provide the following: 1. The security contractor shall provide unarmed security guard services, patrolling on foot and stationary locations, and be responsible for reporting criminal or disruptive behavior at administrative locations for the Oakland Housing Authority, Oakland, CA. 2. Service will normally exist during operational hours in which administrative staff is operating at each facility. 3. Staff assigned to the facilities work a 9/80 schedule, in which the offices are closed every other Friday. Normal workdays will consist of 9.5 hours, with the Thursday proceeding the off Friday at 8.5 hours. Shifts include an unpaid thirty (30) minute lunch.
