The City of Long Beach, Fleet Services Bureau is currently requesting proposals from experienced professionals to conduct Underground Storage Tank (UST) consulting and information management for the City�s UST fuel sites. Currently, there are a total of 15 sites. Qualified personnel will be required to comply with Federal and State UST Regulations, Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations, California Fire Code, and the City of Long Beach UST Compliance Program. The City of Long Beach is seeking proposals that clearly and concisely describe the technical and management approach to be used to provide the City with UST consulting and information management services that will help ensure that the City stays in full compliance with all regulations at all times in a cost effective manner. The City desires expert technical and practical knowledge which generally consists of, but is not limited to: continuous monitoring of the UST alarm program; computerized facility-based data management system; scheduling of UST compliance testing and system certification; overseeing the UST electronic document archiving program; supporting the UST Task Force at monthly meetings; reviewing UST reports and miscellaneous documentation; and installation of real time UST alarm monitoring notification system.
