Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of San Luis Obispo, Health Agency Department, Behavioral Health Services is seeking uniformed, unarmed Security Guard services to provide twenty-four (24) hour security coverage for three (3), eight (8) hour shifts for patients at the Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF). Patients may include inmates from County’s Correctional Facility. Additionally , on-duty Security Guards may be utilized to provide assistance to County’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) to assist with client escalation situations, in conjunction with providing safety for staff and CSU clients pending arrival of local law enforcement. Contractor’s PHF on duty Security Guards may also be utilized to provide security assistance to the Health Campus as a whole, by performing perimeter and grounds safety checks which may include engaging loitering individuals to move from premises and other general safety duties as assigned.
