During all security guard shifts, security personnel will perform these duties that include but are not limited to: • Complete all responsibilities as described in the City approved security guard orders, which are subject to change at the discretion of the City. • Walk through public buildings including hallways and common areas. • Deter illegal activity and immediately report any suspicious activity to the appropriate public safety agency. • Respond promptly to any emergency, determine the nature of the emergency, and contact the appropriate public safety agency. • Ensure all areas in the public right-of-way are clear and accessible and deter any activity that is not appropriate for the area. • Log every interaction with the public and at the end of the shift provide an hourly breakdown of patrol...
