The work consists of the renovation of Spaulding Field. Located immediately east of the Wasserman Football Center, Spaulding Field currently consists of two artificial turf, 60-yard practice fields oriented west to east. With UCLA's move to the Big Ten Conference, the football team will play on opposing teams' fields with natural grass, creating a need for a natural grass practice field. The project will renovate approximately 160,000 square feet of practice space to create a natural grass, full 100-yard field oriented north to south and two smaller artificial turf practice fields oriented west to east. Contractor shall remove the existing turf, provide a new irrigation and drainage system for the grass field, and provide artificial and natural grass on the fields.
