University Of California San Diego (the “University” or “UC San Diego”) is evaluating transitioning its full service third-party managed Course Materials Services to a campus wide Equitable Access Program (“EAP”). A program where participating students pay one price for course materials either on a quarter or per credit hour basis. To meet the needs of university students and the University community, this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) seeks creative Proposals to provide the EAPservices at the University which could include additionally developing a fee model Inclusive Access program. The proposal should speak to the potential changing regulatory environment and be flexible enough to encompass either an “Opt-Out” or “Opt-In” or both options. The program should prioritize equity, affordability, and ease of access, ensuring that all students have the resources they need to succeed academically.
