Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit responses (“bids”) from qualified vendors (“Bidders”) for an Integrated Research Compliance Suite supporting the Animal Care Program at the University of California, Davis. The primary focus of the bid is for integrated support of Animal Husbandry and Colony Management, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Management, and Veterinary Oversight for the research and teaching animals at UC Davis including the business and finance support for these units Additionally, UC Davis is looking for a system that will integrate with other online research compliance systems including Conflict of Interest (eCOI), human subject protection (IRB) and biosafety, campus Financial and Human Resources systems and existing sponsored programs grants management mechanisms. The overall objective of this RFP is to select an integrated system to replace a collection of homegrown applications and processes that depend on aging technologies that have become difficult to support and enhance over time. Qualified suppliers are invited to submit proposals, based on the information provided in this RFP, with the intent to establish a business alliance with UC Davis that will maximize the resources of both organizations to most effectively meet UC Davis’ needs.
