Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of California, Davis, on behalf of the Student Housing & Dining Services (herein referenced as "SHDS") department is seeking a Vendor to provide inspection and cleaning services for Exhaust Hoods, Exhaust Fans and Ducts located in the dining halls and dining retail locations within SHDS as identified in Exhibit A. Exhaust Hood, Exhaust Fan and Duct Inspection and Cleaning Services may include the following: • Perform inspection of exhaust hoods, exhaust fans and ducts identified in Exhibit A • Identify and provide cleaning services for exhaust hoods, exhaust fans and ducts identified in Exhibit A that require cleaning • Provide and install service inspection stickers (to include company name and date service was performed) on each hood and exhaust fan identified in Exhibit A SCOPE OF SERVICES Furnish all necessary labor, materials, transportation and equipment (to include safety equipment as required) for the inspection and cleaning (as required) of kitchen exhaust hoods,exhaust fans and ducting located in the dining halls and dining retail locations within SHDS as identified in Exhibit A. Work is to be performed in accordance with the schedule provided in Exhibit A- this schedule may vary based on usage and need. The inspection and cleaning of the hoods shall be coordinated with the Dining Maintenance Supervisor and/or Assistant Director of Student Housing, Facilities Dining Maintenance. Major cleaning services will be in December at winter break and In June after move out with limited working days to complete services. Cleaning frequencies subject to change depending on operational demands. Listed schedule is a general idea of operations. All cleaning services provided are done after hours, typically from 10:00 pm until 4:00am with 7 days a week access. All cleaning to include removal of all access panels in every exhaust system. All kitchen equipment to be covered and protected while cleaning and left in operational mode when finished (pilot lights lit, all hoods in operational mode, equipment , surfaces, and flooring to be cleaned and ready for use) Chemicals to be approved by EH&S and Custodial supervisor. The vendor shall be responsible for the clean-up of the area upon completion of all work. All work shall be in strict accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and NFPA-96.
