Task 1 - Project Definition and Validation Task 1.1: Information Gathering and Review ● Review existing preliminary design documentation and established project scope, including but not limited to: ○ Previous accessibility studies, plans, and surveys ○ Consent decree documentation ○ Historic Resource Evaluation (HRE) for UC Botanical Garden ○ Geotechnical studies ● Meetings with University staff to discuss established scope, existing conditions, available data/studies, and implementation requirements ● Half a day of walkthroughs and meetings is anticipated. Task 1.2: Stakeholder Coordination ● Coordinate with key stakeholder groups to review list of accessibility improvements including but not limited to: ○ University Vice Chancellor for Research staff ○ Campus Architect and Office of Physical and Environmental Planning ○ Office of Environment Health & Safety ○ Botanical Garden staff and leadership ○ University Accessibility and Compliance staff ○ University Facilities Services staff ○ University Parking and Transportation staff ● Document stakeholder input on implementation approach and phasing
